Tonight, work was hard. I was close to tears when a woman called me over, opened her hand and asked, "are there always pearls in your oysters?
Pearls are made during storms. Pearls are made after an oyster stands the test of time. After a long night of rude customers and crummy tips, the pearl reminded me that hard work and persistence really does pay off. Sometimes, in the most unexpected way.
Jesus makes beautiful things.
